Lifan Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. is a privately owned Chinese motorcycle and automobile manufacturer headquartered in Chongqing, China. It was founded in 1992 and began the manufacturing of automobiles in 2005.
As of 2016, Lifan Group has more than 10,000 employees. It has been listed in China’s top 500 enterprises, as well as the No.1 exporter in Chongqing’s automobile for the last 10 years. While Lifan made an IPO on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2010, Lifan has set up its office in Hong Kong, to handle its M&A, foreign investment and trade.
