Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd. is the second largest brewery in China. Founded by British and German settlers in Qingdao in 1903, Tsingtao Brewery became the first-ever Chinese company to be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1993. That same year, Tsingtao was also listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, making Tsingtao the first Chinese company to be listed in both the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong. Oriental Movie Metropolis is a major Chinese studio, combining film and television production into a theme park. The Metropolis has been funded by Wang Jianlin, head of the Dalian Wanda Group. Planned to be fully operational in June 2017, the Metropolis will cover 376 hectares. Phase one of construction was completed in June 2016. The Metropolis is also home to a celebrity wax museum, a film museum, an Imax research lab, and movie theaters. It plans to have its own international film festival. 130 films are planned for production each year, including 30 foreign movies.
