Sir Gordon Wu, Chairman, Hopewell Holdings Limited
Sir Gordon Wu is the Chairman of Hopewell Holdings Limited. As a civil engineer by profession, he has led the design and construction of numerous property development projects of Hopewell in Hong Kong since the early 1970s, and the hotels, power plant and road infrastructure projects in China and overseas since the early 1980s.

Mr Tang was appointed the Chief Secretary for Administration in July 2007. Prior to this appointment, he was the Financial Secretary and formerly the Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology. In this session, Mr Tang spoke on the latest government policies in maintaining Hong Kong’s competitiveness in the region.

Gregory De’Eb, Concept Founder and GM, Crown Wine Cellars
The Crown Wine Cellars vision was initiated in 2001, when Mr Jim Thompson, Chairman of the Crown Worldwide Group and Mr Gregory De 'Eb, a former career diplomat, decided to create the first professional wine cellar facility and private clubhouse in Asia. Mr De ’Eb moved to Hong Kong and changed career in 2002, developing the Crown Wine Cellars concept: to establish a wine cellar facility on par with the best available anywhere else worldwide.

Anthony Keung, Chief Executive Office, Fenix Group Holdings
Founded in 1972 by Mr Anthony Keung and his Japanese partner, Fenix has grown from being a supplier of Japanese yarn to a knitwear trading and manufacturing company. It diversified its business by starting fashion retailing business in 1980s and became one of the major Hong Kong fashion retailers, operating 12 high fashion brands and 109 shops worldwide, including its own brand, Anteprima. As the fashion retailing business blossomed, Fenix began to explore new horizons – the establishment of City ‘super as a lifestyle mega store catering to a quality-conscious, up-market clientele.

Calvin Mak, Founder and CEO, Rhombus (HK) Management Ltd
Based in North America with over 20 years of international experience, Rhombus International Hotels Group was founded in 1987 in Vancouver, Canada. Rhombus has been involved in hotel operations, management, consulting, development analysis, sales and marketing and branding, etc. In 2008, two new properties, Hotel Panorama by Rhombus and Hotel Bonaparte by Rhombus were opened in Hong Kong, signifying the company’s successful international expansion. The Group also embarked on its expansion plan in China in 2008.

Ronnie C Chan, Chairman, Hang Lung Properties Limited
Mr. Ronnie C. Chan is the Chairman of Hang Lung Group Limited and its subsidiary Hang Lung Properties Limited. Both are publicly listed companies in Hong Kong, with the latter being a constituent stock of the Hang Seng Index. Hang Lung has been a leader in Hong Kong’s property market for over 40 years, and has been expanding into mainland China for over a decade. Following successes in Shanghai, from 2005 to 2009, Hang Lung plans to invest US$5 billion and build about eighteen world-class commercial complexes in several major Chinese cities, like Tianjin, Shenyang, Jinan, Wuxi and Dalian. With Mr Chan’s vast experience in Hong Kong and the mainland, Mr Chan shared his views on the controversy surrounding the two cities, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
