Stanley Ko BBS, JP Chairman, Jardine Matheson (China) Limited         Stanley Ko was born in China and was educated at Diocesan Boys’ School and at University of Hong Kong. In 1987, he attended the PMD course at Harvard Business School. He joined Jardine Matheson in 1970 as Resident Executive in the Shipping agency Division. Since then, he has held various positions in the Group’s shipping and transport services business. He was appointed Director and General Manager of Jardine Shipping Agency(Hong Kong) Limited in1984 and Chief Executive of the Freight Services Group and Chief Operating Offices of Transport Services in 1987. Mr Ko was made a Director of Jardine, Matheson & Co., Limited in 1988. Following the establishment of Jardine Pacific Limited in 1989, he was appointed as a Director, with responsibility for the Company’s Aviation & Shipping interests. In 1999, he was appointed as the Chairman of Jardine Matheson (China). Mr Ko is married with two children.
