Application Rules
- Individual members belonging to any association/chapter of the Federation are welcome to apply. The list of associations/chapters can be viewed at http://www.hkfederation.org.hk/about/members.asp
- Each application will be considered according to:
- The strength of the story’s Hong Kong connection (e.g. using Hong Kong for business expansion to China, Asia or other overseas markets; setting up an office in Hong Kong; outsourcing to or partnering with a manufacturer/service provider in Hong Kong.)
- The developments of the story taken place during the assessment period of 1 September 2009 – 31 August 2010.
- Applicants must ensure that the information submitted concerning any parties involved is available for being made public by the organisers and the awards committee. The composition of the awards committee is at http://www.hkfederation.org.hk/about/executive4.asp
- All applicants are required to submit an application form with the endorsement of their respective associations to the Federation Secretariat.
Benefits
- An Official Certificate will be awarded by the Federation and HKTDC to winning individual in recognition of your company’s achievements. The Award Presentation Ceremony will be held concurrently with the 11th Hong Kong Forum on 1-2 December, 2010 where more than 350 members are expected to be present.
- Winning companies will be advertised in the Directory of the 11th Hong Kong Forum, which will be distributed to all participants and sponsors of the Forum.
- Winning success stories would be publicized at the website of the Federation http://www.hkfederation.org.hk/. The website is frequently accessed by more than 10,000 individual associates of 33 Hong Kong Business Associations in 24 countries.
- Winning success stories may also be considered for feature articles in HK Trader, HKTDC’s weekly online business publication sent to more than 250,000 readers around the world. See HK Trader at http://www.hktrader.net/
- Winning individuals may also be invited to share their experience at the 11th Hong Kong Forum, subject to programme scheduling at the Forum.
